WHY: Providing local and hand-made food and crafts for the surrounding residential neighborhoods and raising money for Peace Containers' goal to put a roof over the head of every man, woman and child using retired shipping containers as a building material.

Product Categories: O5P limits the market to local and hand-made products, produce, artists and businesses. Vendors sell local fresh produce, cheeses, spiced nuts, baked goods, cookies, jewelry, arts, crafts, pickles, salsas, breads, aromatherapy, hand-made natural soaps, vinaigrettes, and more!
In the 2 years of operation, we have raised over $12,000 for Mustard Seed Communities: Jamaica, through this market for Peace Containers to build MSC:J a fosterage house out of shipping containers. (Started 4/21/2010; From the start of O5P Farmers' Market through to 4/21/2010 100% was donated to Hanger Ivan R. Sabel Foundation.)

GA PATH: An Extension trail of the GA PATH runs right in front of the Old Five Points shopping center. This extension connects Old Five Points to Blackburn and Murphy Candler Parks for biking, waking and running. Bike parking is available!

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
FROM I-285:
Take Exit 29 (Ashford-Dunwoody). Go South-East inside the Perimeter (Road should quickly narrow to 2 lanes; Perimeter Mall is outside the perimeter) about 2 miles. Go past the Chevron on Right and then go past the Texaco on Left to the intersection of Ashford-Dunwoody/Johnson Ferry/Donaldson Roads. The shopping center is here on the Left (starting with Dunwoody Cleaners) and Right (Corner Pizza), ending with the Walgreens.
FROM DOWNTOWN ATLANTA:
Take I-85/I-75 North. Get into the Left most 3 traffic lanes to veer Left and stay on I-85. Take clover leaf exit 89 to merge onto GA-42 N/North Druid Hills Rd NE. After crossing Buford Hwy, veer Right at light to say on N. Druid Hills Rd. At Brookhaven Marta Station, N. Druid Hills Rd. deadends into Peachtree Rd.. Merge Right into Peachtree Rd. Go about 1.4 miles. Go two lights past Oglethorpe University (on Left), and turn Left onto Ashford-Dunwoody Road. Go about 1 mile to first light. This is the Ashford-Dunwoody/Johnson Ferry/Donaldson Roads intersection . The shopping center is on the Right (Corner Pizza) before you go through the light and on the Right across the street. At the light either veer slightly to the right to turn onto Donaldson Dr. and then turn Right immediately into the parking lot (starting with Dunwoody Cleaners) or sharply turn to the right and then turn Left or Right into the parking lots.
FROM PEACHTREE RD AND I-285:
Go South on Peachtree Road about four miles to Johnson Ferry Road. Turn Right here just after BP Connect gas station (on Right) but before Lowe’s. Go about 1 mile to just before the Ashford-Dunwoody/Johnson Ferry Roads Intersection (1st stop light). The shopping center is here on the Right (starting with Walgreens) and Left (Corner Pizza).
